Mom's housewarming gift

I made this and we are presenting it today to my mom as a housewarming gift.  She bought a new home in Battle Creek, Mi.  Jim and I are going there for our grand tour, more on that later.

This is the finished punchneedle front.  This is another wonderful design from Shawn Williams of Threads that bind.

This is the back of the design.  As you may know you work from the back punching your threaded needle from the back.

Here it is all trimmed and matted.  This gets folded over the glass for the frame and the corners get stitched together to hold it in place. 

I bought two of these designs so I could have one in my house too!  Time to get it loaded in the hoop!!
