I threw together this little pen for the chicks to spend some supervised time outdoors when its nice out. I used some scrap boards found on the farm and even the chicken wire was a scrap left over from someones project. Last night was their first time in it.
It was quite the adventure. They really didn't know what to make of the big outdoors! They pecked at the grass a little and fought over a withered dandelion.
I'm not sure how much they are going to get to use this, its going to get cold again for a few days.
It is fun watching them explore new things. I hope it warms up a little so they can have more outdoor adventures!
