Well it's been awhile since I posted anything. I wish I could say that I have been busy doing lots of fun things, but sadly I have nothing to show for my time away from posting!
Last weekend I made this clothespin bag. It's from an old pattern I've had for several years. It's called Wash Day Clothespin Bag by Darlene Zimmerman. I made one of these for a coworker a long time ago, cause she used the clothesline a lot to dry her clothes.
I decided I would make one for myself, I hope to be using a clothesline soon, at least by spring! It took longer than I thought it would to make because I could not get my pleats correct. I walked away from it several times. I finally figured out I was marking on the back and I needed to mark them on front! Ugh! It all worked out in the end.
Then I found these wonderful old hangers on eBay. One was blue with little pink flowers, nicely worn and aged looking. I think it looks perfect with my little dress.
