Thank goodness part 5 was so easy!!
I used Bonnie's hint for putting these together to make sure they are scrappy looking. I made 10 1/2" strips and used 12 different aqua fabrics.
This gave me 24 sections.
This left me with 1 more to make. Since we have two different styles of the same block to make, I just made that last one with the other group.
I only had to make 4 of block "B", which just called for individual squares cut for them. Plus my squares for my last aqua block "A".
Why couldn't they all be this simple and of small quantity? Well you wouldn't have that big of a quilt!
So of course I spent the day yesterday getting these all done and catching up on the other parts that I needed to finish sewing. Which I am happy to say I am all caught up, except for all the pressing I still have to do. I thought I was getting myself all prepared for the next step revealed today...then when I started putting this post together last night, what do I discover...Bonnie has already put out the last clue showing how all the pieces go together...I could have at least got one block put together. Oh well, I'll just have to put one together this weekend, in between everything else we are doing!
