Teacup towels and updates

I made these teacup kitchen towels for my Aunt Ann to give as Christmas gifts to her group of Ho,Ho,Ho girls

They took a lot longer to stitch out than I thought they would....3 1/2 hours for each one...I had to make 7!  My machine was running none stop....some of the colors took a good 18-20 minutes to stitch out...I even left my machine on overnight and if I got up in the night I ran downstairs to change the color!!...I was able to get them done Christmas eve and mailed off in time.

Then I got a terrible cold...I have been in bed for a few days...I'm very behind on my sewing...I have two steps on the mystery quilt to catch up on and post about....I have a lot of pressing to do on some of the previous steps...it would be great to have some minions to pick up some of my slack!...Oh, and the best news, Jim gave me an iPad Air for Christmas...isn't he wonderful!...so I have had lots of time to play with it will I've been bedridden.
But I am on the mend and eager to get some sewing done soon.
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and wish you a wonderful new year.
