I won!

I won block party!  Now I have 6 more fantastic basket blocks!  What to do with them? Oh wait, I just realized what I won was another unfinished project!!  Just one more to add to the ever growing list!!

Basket Block

I made a basket block for the WMQG block exchange.  Each meeting they do a different block. Everyone that makes a block gets their name put into a drawing and depending how many blocks they get you might end up with 4 or 6 blocks to make a small quilt!  It has been awhile since I made a block to exchange, I'm glad I took the time to do it. Its all about participation!!

Happy Birthday Lynne

I made another card for my Aunt to give to her girlfriend, Lynne.  I forgot to take the end picture of the completed card!  Gosh, that made me mad!

This is the picture cropped with the background painstakingly removed.  I had to start over 4 times with this one, but it has to be perfect.

Moving Mom

We helped move my Mother and Grandfather into my brothers house.

 It has been a long time since I've seen my mom. It will be nice now that she is closer.

Brianna kept Sophia entertained while we were carrying things in from the moving truck.

We also got to meet Mom's new baby, Rosebud.  She is so tiny and cute.  She was just a hyper little wiggle worm!!

 I spent some time with Gabriella and Sophia even asked me to play!

Sophia has really started talking more and she was not as shy around me.  I was very excited when she asked me to play.  It lasted about 10 minutes but that was long enough for Uncle Bobbi to be sitting on the floor!!
